Originally founded by Geoffrey Ellacott in 1960, Banbury based Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors Ellacotts LLP continues to go from strength to strength.

With nearly 60 staff and 8 partners, Ellacotts deliver their special brand of accountancy and independent advice to individuals and businesses across the region. In 2010, we completed a hat-trick of celebrations as we moved offices, merged with another firm and celebrated our 50th anniversary.

Major milestones in the firm’s history are shown below:

1960

The firm was started by Geoffrey Ellacott. Ellacotts operated from offices in Banbury’s High Street

1963

Moreton Stranks joins the firm – Ellacott Stranks & Co was launched with an office in Lloyds Bank Chambers

1970

Firm moves to Beechfield House, 38 West Bar

2006

Ellacott Stranks becomes Ellacotts LLP

2010

Firm moves to Countrywide House, 23 West Bar

2010

Firm merges with Jones Boughton

2010

Firm celebrates its 50th anniversary
