Pip Elms (Manager)

pelms@ellacotts.co.uk

Pip became a manager in February 2010 having joined Ellacotts in September 2007 as a senior accountant in the Agriculture and Property team. Prior to joining Ellacotts, Pip worked for a national firm of agricultural specialist accountants.

Pip’s new role focuses on managing a portfolio of local and regional agricultural and equestrian clients and helping them to diversify successfully. Having been brought up with horses and studied agricultural, Pip is aware of the issues facing these sectors and as a result is able to provide a fully integrated service to her clients. She is also involved in personal and corporate tax compliance, tax planning and accounts preparation, as well as creating comprehensive business plans to assist businesses in obtaining funding for new ventures.

Outside of work Pip’s interests include looking after her beloved greyhound and (frequently unsuccessful) attempts at self-sufficiency on her small holding. Pip enjoys cycling and has successfully cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats for Ellacotts’ charity of the year. Other interests include reading, piano playing, cooking and going to the theatre. Pip also owns a narrow boat and looks forward to many relaxing weekends travelling on the waterways of the UK and finding new pubs in which to enjoy a selection of real ales.
