John Pickering (Manager)John is manager of the firm's small business section, dealing with accounts and taxation for smaller partnerships and sole traders. He is also responsible for handling individual personal accounts, including those of the older tax payer. This, in turn, has led to an expertise in capital taxes planning, including family trusts. John has been with the firm since 1976 and particularly enjoys helping his many long- standing clients. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1968 and, prior to joining the firm, worked for a well-known international firm in Belgium and Grand Cayman. His free time is taken up with the Hooky Players amateur theatrical group, both on stage and as treasurer.
