Leon Du Plooy (IT Manager)Leon is responsible for the maintenance and smooth-running of the Management Information Systems at Ellacotts. With seven years of experience in Windows systems support and three years in terminal server networks. He applies his advanced technical knowledge to develop and implement strategic recommendations, hereby helping in Ellacotts strategic plan to move towards an IT-focused future. He works with external software houses to develop applications, not only for internal use, but also for professional firms in general. Hailing from a motor-racing background as a technical design engineer for Indy and Formula 1, his attention to detail and determination are evident in his commitment to technical progression. Like many others working in this field, Leon spends much of his free time in front of a PC. His main fascinations are digital art and web design.
