Mark has been a manager in Ellacotts’ agricultural and property team since he joined in September 2006. Mark previously worked for Grant Thornton.
Mark is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and tax needs of his clients, but takes more enjoyment and satisfaction from being able to provide proactive business and tax planning solutions. Mark’s strong knowledge of agricultural tax and the unique business challenges faced by farmers is backed up by the practical experience and understanding obtained from his upbringing on the family dairy farm. Mark is also a member of the Country Land and Business Association (CLA)
Outside of work, Mark loves music - both listening and playing. He plays the trombone as part of the Hook Norton Brass Band and has played all over the country and abroad. He also sits on the band's committee as treasurer. A country boy at heart, Mark enjoys everything about farming, tractors and the countryside.
