Leading Banbury Chartered Accountants and business advisors Ellacotts LLP’s trainee accountants are the cream of the crop. Of the six trainees who took their ACA, ACCA or AAT exams at the end of 2010, all of them passed with flying colours. Of particular note was Claire Wilkinson, a trainee in the Agriculture and Property Team, who received the highest mark in the Thames Valley District in her taxation exam.
Ellacotts are dedicated to training and are an authorised ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) training employer as well as a platinum standard ACCA training employer.
They have a regular and increasing trainee intake, which has bucked the industry trend over the last couple of years, and they provide training contracts for both A-Level students and graduates who wish to pursue to career in accountancy. Their training contracts involve a comprehensive study and work experience programme, full training and exam support, using specialised training companies, and paid study leave in addition to holidays.
