Ellacotts Complete Fundraising for Katharine House Hospice Trust

In January 2009 staff at Ellacotts voted Katharine House Hospice as the firm’s Charity of the Year. A year later and thanks to the enthusiasm, hard work and generosity of staff, clients and colleagues, more than £2500 has been raised for this worthy cause.
One of the largest fundraising activities undertaken was the Three Peaks Challenge in April 2009 where five members of Ellacotts’ staff climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowden in less than 24 hours.
Other activities held during the year included sponsorship of a clay pigeon shoot, a corporate golf event, donations instead of sending Christmas cards and tin shaking in Go Yellow Week.
The cheque was proudly handed to Sheila Norton from Katharine House Hospice’s Corporate Fundraising Team by (pictured left to right) Pip Elms, James Porter and Amy Stevens, all of whom took part in the Three Peaks Challenge.
