What start up companies need to know - Exposing the facts to growing companies
This dynamic event brought together local start up companies with local Government support bodies and businesses consultancy professionals who ran industry seminars throughout the day.
Attendees received free advice on issues ranging from accountancy, legal, marketing, technology with seminar topics including ‘Businesses Planning’.
The list of exhibitors on the day included: Oxford Innovation, Business Link, Spratt Endicott, HSBC, North Oxfordshire Enterprise Hub, Cardwell Marketing, Train to Gain, Oxfordshire Business Enterprises and of course Ellacotts although we are likely to recruit a few more on the day.
David Saunders, Managing Partner at Ellacotts LLP explains: “Starting a new business isn’t easy, our aim at Ellacotts is to work closely with start up companies, helping them to become more successful in achieving their aims, increasing their profits and ultimately reaching their full potential. We are delighted to have been selected to sponsor such a valuable local event, we hope to build on the success of last years seminar in assisting new start up companies in their pursuit for success.”
According to Karen Matthews, Business Development Officer at Cherwell District Council: “There has been an explosive growth of business activity in the area over the past decade with a very healthy level of small business enterprises. It is of the greatest importance for us to sustain a healthy local economy and continue to encourage the growth and development of businesses in the area.”
