Personal Tax Senior

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Tax Senior in this well respected and growing accountancy practice in Banbury.

The successful candidate will work within the Agriculture and Property Team having a compliance role and managing a portfolio of clients consisting of mainly self-employed individuals and partnerships.

Your main responsibilities will include the processing of tax returns, meeting clients, liaising with HM Revenue & Customs and providing figures for annual tax credit declarations. Another key aspect of the role will be to identify additional services that the Practice can provide for its clients.

The ideal applicant will be technically strong and have the ability to deal with complex matters. You should also possess excellent Word and Excel skills and previous experience with Sage Tax would be an advantage.

Trainee Accountants

We are accepting applications for graduates wishing to pursue a career in accountancy and gain a recognised professional qualification (ACA) or (ACCA)

The three year training contract involves a comprehensive study and work experience programme. Full training and exam support, using specialised training companies, will be given to successful applicants. We offer paid study leave in addition to your annual and statutory holiday entitlement.

Our client base is diverse and ranges in sizes from large companies to small sole traders. As a result we can offer a wider exposure to a variety of work experiences than most other firms our size.

Applicant will require a 2.1 honours degree to be considered.

'A' Level students

We are also looking for 'A' Level students interested in a career in accountancy who will study for the AAT (Accounting Technician) qualification. On completion, students may be offered the option to 'Fast Track' from AAT to the Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA). You could qualify as a chartered accountant in as little as two years.

The training contract includes exam support (including paid study leave) and a thorough study and work experience programme.

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 GCSE's, including "A" Grades in English and Maths and 2 'A' levels. Equivalent grades at International Baccalaureate level are also welcomed.
