Staff in our Banbury office have been generously donating food and toiletries to Banbury Foodbank to help local families in need this Christmas.
We placed a collection box in our Banbury reception area for two weeks and both staff and clients generously donated food and toiletries. One week before Christmas we gave the donations to the Banbury Foodbank, which is supported by The Trussell Trust, and were distributed in time for Christmas 2019.
How does the Banbury Foodbank work?
They provide parcels with 3 days worth of food to people in crisis, including people and families with an unexpectedly large bill, people who have been made redundant or on a low income.
Alex Taylor, Marketing Assistant, who organised the initiative, said:
“We’re overwhelmed by how generous everyone has been and we’re very proud to be able to support local people in need this Christmas.”
