I am currently part of the apprenticeship scheme with Ellacotts and Reed Business School, and I am studying towards the ACA qualification with ICAEW. Through this, I have achieved certificate and time qualification, and aim to be fully chartered in 2024.
I am a trainee in the Corporate Services team at Ellacotts. I have gained valuable experience in auditing both not-for-profit entities and companies that are rapidly growing, mainly in the tech industry. Before joining in February 2024, I worked at a firm in London where I started my ACA studies.
I joined Ellacotts in November 2023 as a VAT Specialist and I am part of the Tax Team. My role is to provide VAT advisory services across our diverse client base and have worked with OMBs to large multi-national corporations.
I joined Ellacotts in June 2023 as a Trainee in the Agriculture and Property team. Previously, I worked within the horse racing and farming industries, studying at The British Racing School from 2018-2022.
On a typical work day as a tax trainee at Ellacotts, you will find me collating information from clients to draft their personal tax returns, registering partnerships and partners for Self-assessment, and liaising with the Revenue for the clients.
I joined Ellacotts in September 2022, after completing a master’s degree in mathematics at Loughborough University. I am excited by the new experiences and challenges, as a new Trainee Accountant in the Agricultural and Property department.
Having previously worked in high-end retail management for 22 years, and 9 years as the office manager for a Country house estate agent, I bring both great customer rapport, and service skills, and excel in time management and organisation.
At Ellacotts, day to day, I interact with clients in order to understand their business and the manner in which it is run to the best plan and apply the required audit methodology and testing to ensure that their financial statements truly reflect the performance of the company for that year.
My role at Ellacotts involves the preparation of year-end accounts and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
