Kettering

My day-to-day role within the Tax team at our Kettering office mainly entails preparing and submitting tax returns for our clients. I enjoy the variety of my job and working with the team.

Typically my day-to-day jobs at Ellacotts include preparing year-end accounts, business tax computations and completing VAT returns. I have also had the opportunity to meet clients in meetings, represent Ellacotts at country shows and attend events with other professional firms in our industry.

I am an AAT level 4 trainee within the Agriculture and Property team in the Kettering office. My day-to-role includes preparing harvest accounts for farmers and completing client VAT returns.

My job entails preparing year-end accounts, VAT returns and tax returns for clients. I often help advise clients with any enquiries they may have, and deliver them with solutions. This can sometimes be in the form of assisting clients on using the Xero software.

Ellacotts has given me the opportunity to develop my career by doing what I love most – assisting farmers with their accounts. I enjoy building client relationships, being involved in discussing their future plans and being able to attend agricultural shows and prospect client meetings.
