Within my role as Accounts Senior at the firm, you will find me assisting clients with their tax responsibilities, in particular Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax. I also get involved in Trust and Estate accounts preparation, as well as other ad hoc work such as profit predictions.
My day-to-day tasks include looking after a wide range of agricultural and land owning clients, including sole traders, partnerships, companies and family trusts.
I am a partner in Ellacotts’ Agriculture and Property team, where I lead the delivery of services to a wide range of farming businesses and landed estates. I specialise in providing tax-planning advice, particularly in the areas of Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax.
I am developing my specialism in trust accounting and tax matters, due to my involvement with some of the firm’s larger estate clients. I am involved with all aspects of accountancy from accounts and tax return compliance to Inheritance Tax planning
