I started as HR Administrator at Ellacotts in October 2015 and was promoted to HR Advisor in June 2018. I absolutely love my job here at Ellacotts because no two days are ever the same and there is never a dull moment. I spend most of my time looking after my clients (aka our staff) to make sure everyone is happy! My role is to ensure everyone has everything they need to do a great job and have a bit of fun while doing it. A large part of my role is to organise the recruitment process across the Firm. We hold trainee recruitment days, attend University employment fairs and spend time tracking down the perfect candidates to help our Firm to grow and develop. I also spend a lot of time on excel and I’m a bit of a self-taught wizard – who knew HR would mean so many spreadsheets!

Just a little about me – I graduated from the University of York in 2014 with a Master’s Degree in Sociolinguistics so I not only love talking but love listening to people talk too. I live in Daventry with my fiancé and our kitten Minnie (Yes, like Minnie Mouse). When not at work, I am usually either watching a Disney film or reading a Stephen King novel, but rarely both at the same time.
