I joined Ellacotts in April 2022 as a Trainee Accountant in the Agriculture and Property department after graduating with a First-Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University. Ellacotts has been a great place to begin my career in accounting and I am excited to be starting my chartered qualification with them in the near future.
In my current role, I prepare accounts for our agriculture clients. This is something that Ellacotts had me involved in from my first week. I love the role as it offers a lot of variety, with no two days being the same.
I have already been offered plenty of learning opportunities to develop my skills since joining Ellacotts, including training as a Xero adviser and completing a bookkeeping course within my first month. On my first day I was assigned a mentor, who has been fundamental in helping me to develop and improve my skillset.
Away from work, I try to keep fit by running and going to the gym, I enjoy watching motorsports on the weekend, and I love exploring new places with my partner.
