AAT

Agriculture & Property

I joined Ellacotts in May 2017 as a Level 4 AAT Trainee within the Agriculture and Property department. I had previously completed Levels 2 and 3 whilst working full time, firstly as a business and marketing apprentice for a small financial services firm and, secondly, as a Cash Administrator for Lloyds Bank Commercial Finance.

From day one of joining, Ellacotts have been very supportive and all the staff are incredibly welcoming. I feel having a number of Trainees at different levels of qualification is excellent as advice is never far away and others can relate to how you feel.

My day to day role mainly entails the preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships, which I enjoy due to the variety of clients we cater for. I continue to learn new things daily and am excited to participate in an increasing range of tasks as my studies allow me to do so.

I am looking forward to building relationships with clients and what the future holds with Ellacotts!

When not in the office, I enjoy playing and watching football, socialising with friends and following the ups and downs of Newcastle United.
