I joined the team at Ellacotts in April 2005 and am the Personal Assistant to Mark Dickin and Helen King within the Agriculture and Property team. Prior to joining the firm, all my working life has been within the finance sector; firstly with Lloyds Bank, then in Building Societies and Financial Services.
I am involved with a whole range of clients that use Ellacotts for their financial needs. This work can vary from personal tax and financial administration to serving large estates, farms and companies with all the varied requirements they expect from us.
I enjoy meeting the new and established clients and getting to know them and helping them with all their needs. I am usually at the end of the phone when they call or, more likely, it will be me ringing out to return calls, arrange appointments or give a gentle nudge for overdue paperwork. I try do it all with a smile – even on rainy days, harvest days and the lambing season. Working in the agricultural sector ensures no two of my days are ever the same.
Outside of work, I enjoy the world of dog shows. For many years, I owned Basset Hounds and have bred and shown them. My highest achievement was winning Best Dog Basset Hound at Crufts and then going on to make him up to a full champion by winning other big championship shows. These days my involvement with dog shows is either helping out and stewarding for the judges or judging the hounds myself at Championship level as I am now a fully qualified Kennel Club judge.
