I am a member of the Admin team here at Ellacotts and I joined the practice in July 2013.
My main role for Ellacotts is credit control, which I love, as I get to speak to a wide variety of people. I also assist with the many varied roles within the Admin team which keeps me nice and busy.
A little bit about my background… I left school and joined the Women’s Royal Naval Service, I served for 14 years and became a Leading Wren Regulator (Service Policewoman). I was fortunate to be based on two of our largest warships, HMS Ark Royal and HMS Invincible and travelled around the world.
Since leaving the Navy I have worked in various places but found I was happiest here at Ellacotts where I hope to remain until I retire.
I am married to Alan and we have two children, Dean who is a mechanic and Dee-Anne who studies TV and Film.
In my spare time, I love reading and thinking of the next job that needs to be done in the house and therefore getting my husband to do a lot of DIY. I love animals, we have 4 cats, we got our first two from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, then my daughter started volunteer work for B.A.R.K.S, which is an animal kindness centre, and so we ended up re-homing another two kittens!
When I retire, which isn’t for another 9 years yet, I would like to live abroad.
