I joined Ellacotts in July 2024 as a trainee accountant within the Agriculture and Property team in Kettering. This comes after graduating from the University of Surrey, as a prize winner, with a First-Class Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance.
My interest in the agricultural industry started when I began questioning young farmers at one of their formal events, as well as having lots of veterinary students as friends at university, and hearing all about their placement experiences.
Day-to-day I have support from my mentor when preparing accounts for clients, which has been fundamental to my learning and development. However, as I become more knowledgeable, I have increased autonomy in my work and have been enjoying all the new challenges it brings. As I am already part-qualified in the ACA, I look to continue my studies and become a fully qualified chartered accountant here at Ellacotts soon.
Away from work, I enjoy playing and watching football and basketball. As well as being on the dancefloor doing salsa and bachata.
