As a Partner in the Corporate Services department, I am responsible for the oversight of a diverse client portfolio of UK and International businesses. I am also heavily involved in the management of the Corporate Service department and in particular our audit offering.

I joined Ellacotts in 2024 from a regional firm of accountants and have over 25 years experience in the accountancy profession. Over those years, I have gained considerable general practice experience in accounts, audit and forensic accounting experience. I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2003 and I am one of the firm’s Responsible Individuals for audit.

During my career, I have acted for businesses of all sizes and in many sectors, from start-ups to multi-million-pound groups. I have also witnessed many ups and downs across those clients which has helped shape the advice and guidance that I can offer to clients going forwards. I also have a keen eye for compliance and quality related matters and work with other Corporate Service partners to ensure quality.

Every day at Ellacotts involves learning and development. I am a great believer in “if you stand still, you go backwards”. Our workplace cultural instils positivity throughout the team and without a great team, you can’t deliver quality service to clients. I take great pleasure in seeing the team here learn, develop and strive to meet their goals. Our business is built on our people and the people we work with, so maintaining strong and positive business relationships is key to this and something I put considerable effort into on a continuous basis.

Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing hockey and expanding my DIY and mechanical knowledge. I can often be found at home repairing anything from my camper van to children’s toys!
