Marc Potter

Payroll Assistant

Payroll Bureau

I joined the Corporate Services department in May 2017 as part of the Payroll Bureau. Coming to work in a bureau environment was an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and create a tailored experience for each of them individually.

As a Trainee, I am learning on the job within an excellent team that is equipped with the experience and expertise that will help me work towards professional qualifications.

From my previous role in a retail environment, I use that experience to create a professional yet personal approach to assisting clients with the day-to-day running of their payroll as well as other needs that arise from their businesses.

I qualified from Oxford Brookes University in 2013 with a degree in Sport, Coaching and Physical Education before training as a Further Education lecturer. Both of these qualifications have provided me with excellent professional experience to call upon here at Ellacotts.

I enjoy working at Ellacotts as the variety of clients we work with help to ensure each day is different. There is also an excellent working environment that offers a friendly and positive place to work as well as a great social aspect with regular events out of the office which helps build rapport between the various departments.

When not at the office I teach martial arts at a local club, I enjoy watching sport such as rugby and regularly spend weekends finding walking routes in the countryside.
