I joined Ellacotts as an audit and accounts semi-senior in October 2022. I worked at a couple of firms for 4 and a half years before joining Ellacotts. This has given me a wide variety of experience across multiple areas within the accounting world.
Prior to joining Ellacotts, I completed level 2 and level 3 of AAT and started studying towards my ICAEW Chartered Accountant qualification. I am now in my final year of study and hope to be chartered by 2024!
Day-to-day, I am usually out at clients conducting their audits for the year. At Ellacotts we have a wide variety of clients from limited companies to charities to academy trusts. This enables variety every day and no two days will be the same! I also prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and tax returns for clients.
I love client interaction and building relationships with clients and find at Ellacotts there is a lot of opportunity to meet different clients from different industries.
Outside of work you will find me with my dogs and animals or travelling around the world!
