I joined Ellacotts Agricultural and Property team in December 2017. Prior to this, I worked for a firm of Chartered Accountants in the South West, where I undertook my ICAEW qualification as a member of the farming team. Previously I obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Agriculture (Livestock) at the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester.
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in November 2017 and moved to Ellacotts where I was promoted to Assistant Manager and subsequently to the role of Manager. I now look after a range of Agricultural and Property clients from smaller sole traders up to large farming estates trading as Limited Companies. As well as dealing with routine accountancy and taxation matters on behalf of clients, I also enjoy advising clients on the future of their rural businesses.
My Agricultural background allows me to work closely with my clients giving constructive advise on business matters and taxation.
Away from the office, I am a Young Farmer and enjoy getting involved in as many activities as possible. I am also a church bell ringer and can often be heard in a local tower on a Sunday morning.
