I joined Ellacotts in July 2024 as a trainee in the Agriculture and Property Department. In December 2022, I graduated from The University of Nottingham with a First-Class Honours degree in Chemistry. Since then, I have worked for several different businesses gaining experience and travelled around New Zealand and Southeast Asia in July 2023, meeting new people and exploring wonderful places.
My day-to-day activities include preparing accounts for clients, booking in accounts and helping the team in any way I can. I enjoy working at Ellacotts, the variation of work I am involved with makes every day different and interesting. I am looking forward to starting my AAT training, with the hope to then complete my chartered accountancy qualification; it will be great to start a new challenge and develop new skills.
Having grown up on an arable and sheep farm, working at Ellacotts is the perfect blend between my interest in farming and my love of maths and problem solving.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in the countryside, socialising with friends, going to the gym and all things creative, including pottery.
