Essie Pepin

I joined Ellacotts in July 2024 as a trainee in the Agricultural and Property department after completing my A levels in Psychology, Business, and Biology in July 2023. Following my studies, I spent time travelling across Southeast Asia while also gaining valuable administrative experience working in an office environment.

A typical day for me at Ellacotts involves preparing accounts for clients, completing quarterly VAT returns, preparing tax returns, and supporting the team wherever I can. Everyone in the office is super friendly and always willing to help, which creates a great environment to learn and grow. One of the key benefits of working at Ellacotts is the strong support provided to trainees—both in progressing towards professional qualifications and in developing practical skills through day-to-day tasks.

I’ve recently started working towards my ACA qualification as I aim to achieve my goal of becoming a chartered accountant.

Outside of work, I enjoy socialising with friends, travelling, and exploring new countries. I also have a passion for baking—whether it’s cakes, cookies, brownies, or anything sweet!
