Having initially been launched in November 2020, the scheme was then scrapped as the situation developed further in early 2021
Are you impacted by the recent Brexit changes to the parent company guarantee audit exemption?
For period’s commencing on or after 1 January 2021, UK subsidiaries of a parent company registered in the European Economic Area (‘EEA’), will no longer be able to take advantage of the parent company guarantee to exempt the UK subsidiary from an audit.
With the farming industry undergoing mass reforms and increased pressures as the Basic Payment Scheme is phased out, the Chancellor’s latest Budget statement was eagerly awaited. In the end, the farming sector was largely overlooked, with the focus being on a new post -COVID economy of fiscal stability.
