Our Charity of the Year

Ellacotts is delighted to announce our Charity of the Year for 2021 is SSNAP – Support for the Sick Newborn and their Parents at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Each year we ask people to nominate charities that mean something to them, which is then followed by a vote, with the winner becoming our Charity of the Year.
David Stevens, Managing Partner, said:
“We are delighted to be supporting SSNAP as our new Charity of the Year. SSNAP does amazing work in supporting parents, families and sick newborns by improving care by funding new and innovative equipment and working with researchers from the University of Oxford on groundbreaking research in neonatal medicine. We are looking forward to supporting SSNAP over the next year.”
Throughout the year, we will be raising money through dress down days, cake bakes and various physical pursuits. If you would like to help us support this fantastic charity, please visit our fundraising page.
About SSNAP
SSNAP was formed in 1982 by a group of parents who recognised the need to assist with fundraising for additional resources for the Newborn Care Unit, or SCBU as it was then called.
In that time they have helped hundreds of families, funding pioneering new equipment and made sure that parents feel comfortable and cared for whilst their baby is on the Neonatal Care Unit.
