As Managing Partner, I have responsibility for the strategic development of the firm. I work with my fellow Partners to ensure that we continue to deliver excellent client service, attract and retain the best people and achieve growth for Ellacotts.
I also lead the Corporate Services department, and my client portfolio involves working with the firm’s larger corporate and non-corporate clients, many of who are part of international groups. I have extensive experience in providing auditing, accounting, and business advisory services to a wide range of businesses, principally dealing with owner-managed businesses.
I started my career at a Big Four firm where I spent over 10 years working with some of the UK’s largest companies, before moving to a mid-tier firm and then joining Ellacotts as a Partner in 2011.
I am actively involved with the firm’s membership of the UK200Group, the UK’s leading association of quality assured professionals. I am the Chair of the Membership Services Committee and the Chair of the International Panel, an expert panel whose members provide specialist services to international clients. In conjunction with this role, I represent Ellacotts and the UK200Group at IAPA, an international association of accountants of which we are also active and long-standing members.
I have lived and worked in France for over 3 years and continue to be an active Francophile, working with many French businesses, spending most holidays there, and of course drinking the wine!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and trying to stay in some sort of shape by running. I have taken part in various events for charity and have completed the Paris marathon twice (albeit slowly!).
