I joined Ellacotts in November 2016 as the PA to John Thame in the Agriculture and Property department. I have 14 years of experience in front-line roles within the financial service sector. After starting at my local building society as a part-time receptionist, I worked my way up to my greatest achievement, becoming Branch Operations Manager where I was responsible for the branch network, training staff and ensuring service standards were met. More recently, I spent 6 years as PA to a Director within Country House sales, putting property brochures together, arranging viewings and dreaming about which property I would buy if I won the lottery!
I have learnt a lot over the years; the importance of good customer service, confidentiality and attention to detail, which has enabled me to apply my knowledge and skills to help provide close administration support to John and the team at Ellacotts. From managing diaries to typing up reports or planning meetings, and liaising with clients and colleagues, my role is varied and my background gives me a greater understanding of the importance of excellent customer service with a personal touch when speaking to and assisting our clients.
Outside work, I like relaxing in the garden and long country walks with my two dogs.
Outside work, I enjoy relaxing in the garden, whilst watching my husband do all the hard work and long country walks with our two Jack Russell’s Reggie and Woody, weather permitting. On wet days, I like baking cakes and being creative in the kitchen. I also enjoy reading and Christmas parties.
