I joined Ellacotts after completing my Law degree from the University of Warwick in July 2021. I now work in the Corporate Services team preparing accounts and assisting with audits. My day normally consists of preparing accounts, tax returns and tax computations for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. However, I am involved in being on-site with clients, completing audits for some of our corporate clients and academy trusts.
During my time at Ellacotts, I have worked in the tax department preparing tax returns and assisted within the wealth planning department, which has allowed me to gain a wide depth of knowledge in all areas of the firm.
I am now studying towards the AAT Level 3 accounting qualification, which will enable me to become a chartered accountant in the future. This also provides me with practical knowledge that I can apply to the tasks that I am faced with every day whilst preparing accounts.
Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym and walking my dog!
