Charlotte Murphy

I joined Ellacotts after completing my Law degree from the University of Warwick in July 2021. I now work in the Corporate Services team preparing accounts and assisting with audits. My day normally consists of preparing accounts, Corporate tax returns and computations for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. However, I am involved in being on-site with clients and completing audits for some of our corporate clients and academy trusts.

During my time at Ellacotts, I have worked in the tax department preparing individual tax returns and assisted within the wealth planning department, which has allowed me to gain a wide depth of knowledge in all areas of the firm.

I am now AAT qualified and studying towards getting my ACA qualification, which will make me a Chartered Accountant. My studies provide me with practical knowledge that I can apply to the tasks that I am faced with every day whilst preparing accounts and completing audits.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, going to the gym and walking my dog!
