I joined Ellacotts in July 2019, straight out of Aston University as a Mathematics graduate. I have always loved numbers and knew from a very young age I would have a career working with them, after all, accountancy runs in my family.

Throughout my time at Ellacotts, I have gained both my AAT and ACA qualifications. I’m now working as a qualified account senior in the Agriculture & Property team in Kettering.

My day at Ellacotts usually involves the preparation of year-end accounts and tax returns for various entities such as partnerships, companies and trusts, as well as reviewing said work prepared by colleagues. I maintain strong client relationships, acting as their day-to-day contact and I pride myself on delivering solutions while taking an interest in their lives. I have also been designated Kettering’s Xero Superuser which entails providing Xero support to both colleagues and clients and making suggestions to increase bookkeeping efficiencies. I also thoroughly enjoy advisory work and delving into Capital Taxes, including preparing Capital Gains Tax computations and Inheritance Tax reporting.

Away from the office, I can be found swimming, curled up with a good book, or winding down with my family after intruding on my parent’s dinner plans.
