I joined Ellacotts in February 2022 as an Accounts Senior in the Agriculture and Property department at the Kettering office.

I started my accounting career in 2012 as a trainee accountant at a smaller accountancy firm in Bedford, over the 6 years working there I gained my AAT and ACCA qualifications. I moved on to working in a global education business, working as the Head Office Accountant, and moving up to the UK Finance Manager.

My previous roles gave me valuable experience across a wide range of businesses from small sole traders, to large audit clients.

My role at Ellacotts involves the preparation of year-end accounts and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. I find my role at Ellacotts very enjoyable as, having friends in the farming industry, and a keen interest in the countryside myself, it makes the job very interesting and rewarding.

Away from the office, I’m likely to be found outdoors somewhere – whether that’s riding my ex-racehorse Paul, or walking my wild German Wirehaired Pointer Hazel!
