After completing my master’s in accounting and finance from the University of Exeter, I recently joined Ellacotts as a trainee accountant/auditor. This position allows me to apply my knowledge to real-life accounting scenarios while serving clients to the best of my abilities. Additionally, it offers me the opportunity to pursue my ACCA qualification and become qualified within the next three years.
A typical day at Ellacotts involves preparing annual financial statements for corporate clients and assisting managers with audits. The wide range of tasks ensures a constant stream of challenges, encouraging me to think creatively and continuously evolve my skillset. What I find most appealing about Ellacotts is their unwavering support for individuals in the early stages of their careers, providing assistance not only with professional qualifications but also with day-to-day work.
Beyond the professional sphere, I am passionate about maintaining my fitness. I enjoy pushing myself at the gym, honing my skills for competitive squash tournaments, and actively seeking out as many cricket sessions as possible.
