I joined Ellacotts in July 2019 straight after completing my A Levels in Chemistry, Biology and Maths. During my first 2 years at the firm, I studied towards the AAT Qualification, which I have now completed. I am currently part way through ACA and looking to qualify in the next few years. Working at Ellacotts has allowed me to apply my studies in real-life situations by supporting clients, which means my studies are always relevant to me.
My typical work day involves me preparing annual accounts, VAT returns and tax returns for individuals and companies. The variety of work I am exposed to means I am constantly challenged and always learning, while also gaining valuable experience. What I love about Ellacotts is the support available at each stage of your career, whether that be exams or support with client work – there is always someone to help.
Away from the office, I enjoy spending my time at the gym and playing video games. I also play cricket for a local team so that keeps me busy during the summer.
