I started my accountancy career at Ellacotts in February 2021 as a Trainee Accountant in the Agriculture and Property team, I have since progressed to a senior accounts role following the completion of passing both my AAT3 and AAT4 exams in 2023.
Typically my day-to-day jobs at Ellacotts include preparing year-end accounts, business tax computations and completing VAT returns. I have also had the opportunity to meet clients in meetings, represent Ellacotts at country shows and attend events with other professional firms in our industry.
I particularly enjoy working at Ellacotts as it allows me to work with like-minded people, and gain invaluable knowledge from my colleagues. Coming from a farming background, I am passionate to do my utmost to support our clients as I am aware of the struggles that can be faced within the agricultural industry.
Outside of work, you will more than likely find me either with my spaniel Piper (getting roped into the farm work at home), or on the search for booking flights to our next holiday destination!
I particularly enjoy working at Ellacotts as it allows me to work with like-minded people to see all aspects of a job, some more challenging than others. Coming from a farming background, I am passionate to do my utmost to support our clients as I am aware of the struggles that can be faced within the agricultural industry.
Outside of work, you will more than likely find me with my spaniel Piper, always looking for a new walking adventure.
