Being a member of the Corporate Services team at Ellacotts, I enjoy supporting our clients in a number of different areas including audits, accounts preparation and tax returns. I am always keen to find out all I can about the organisations I work with as the different approaches and aspirations fascinate me whether that be in business growth, charity work or the provision of education.
I am a Trainee Accountant at Ellacotts and work in a semi-senior role. Prior to joining in February 2024, I worked at a firm in London where I started my ACA studies and gained valuable experience in auditing companies that were rapidly growing, mainly in the tech industry.
In a previous career, I practiced as a primary school headteacher for almost a decade so am very familiar with the challenges the sector faces, particularly financially. I hope I can use my experience to add value to our academy clients, wherever possible.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching, playing, coaching and refereeing football but if I’m not pitch side, then I’m likely to be found watching a musical on the West End! My favourite?.…Blood Brothers!
