Sue Findlay

I am the Receptionist and Practice Administrator at the Kettering office, and have been since April 2016. Previously, I worked at Grant Thornton for 4 years as a Receptionist and Filing Clerk.

I’m the cheerful voice on the end of the phone and the person who would welcome you when you walk in the door with a smile.

As well as my reception duties, I help out in the office in many ways. Typically, I can be making drinks for clients, ordering lunches for client meetings and maybe later assisting with marketing… with many other jobs in between! I have been at the Kettering office since it opened and I love it.

I used to live and work in Devon and grew up on my Grandad’s farm. I kept pigs, and to this this day, they are my favourite animals. I collect them and have a collection inside my house and a life sized pig in the garden.

When I’m not at work, I spend many hours in my garden. There is always plenty to do, especially in the spring when everything magically comes alive. We have many birds that visit and I find watching starlings bathe in the pond very entertaining. The garden is a soothing and relaxing place to be and my sanctuary.

When it comes to sport I’m a rugby fan who supports Exeter Chiefs and never miss a game in the Six Nations Championship. I also enjoy motorsport on two and four wheels and I have attended the Speedway Grand Prix in Cardiff and the Touring Car Championship at Rockingham this year.

When holiday time comes around, I will most likely be found in Lanzarote with my husband or perhaps visiting family in Malta.
