My day-to-day role within the Tax team at our Kettering office mainly entails preparing and submitting tax returns for our clients. I enjoy the variety of my job and working with the team.

Typically my day-to-day jobs at Ellacotts include preparing year-end accounts, business tax computations and completing VAT returns. I have also had the opportunity to meet clients in meetings, represent Ellacotts at country shows and attend events with other professional firms in our industry.

In my current role, I prepare accounts for our agriculture clients as well as prepare and file confirmation statements for clients. With the amount of different clients that we help I get to see many different aspects on a daily basis.

I am an AAT level 4 trainee within the Agriculture and Property team in the Kettering office. My day-to-role includes preparing harvest accounts for farmers and completing client VAT returns.
Lindsay Holmes
Day-to-day, I am preparing accounts and tax returns for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and companies, as well as adhoc tasks that arise. Adapting your approach to each client means no two days are the same.
Verity Gulliver
On a daily basis, I am involved with preparing accounts and tax returns, as well as some inheritance tax and capital gains tax computations and preparing VAT returns for clients.
